VET IN SCHOOLS
Vocational Education and Training (VET) in School programs broadens the range of study options available to senior school students. VET programs enable young people to undertake vocational studies while still at school. Students can gain their Senior Certificate and a Nationally Industry Recognized Qualification. Students have the opportunity to undertake structured workplace learning which forms an important part of the students overall education.
STRUCTURED WORKPLACE LEARNING
Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) is a key component of many Vocational Education Certificates. It allows students to acquire skills and knowledge in an industry setting. Students will undertake tasks in order to demonstrate or reinforce specific competencies associated with their classroom learning. |
